Gowon Yakubu with its capital at Kaduna.It shares boundaries with Kano, Niger, Nasarawa, Katsina and FCT. The current Governor is H. E. Mal. Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai re-elected 29th May, 2019 under the All Progressive Congress with his Deputy Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe. Rt. Hon. Aminu Abdullahi Shagali is the Honorable Speaker of the House of Assembly.
